About the Attorney

Jennifer Scarborough is an immigration attorney based in Harlingen, Texas on the U.S.-Mexico border. Working on the border, she has learned to respond to rapidly changing immigration policies.

She assists clients with asylum, detained, removal, humanitarian, and family-based immigration cases. She brings a problem-solving approach and desire for justice to her legal work. During a consultation, she will assess your immigration case and discuss potential solutions with you.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jennifer worked as a paralegal and DOJ Accredited Representative with non-profit immigration legal service providers in Chicago, Massachusetts, and Texas. She understands hard work and even worked full-time during law school while taking evening classes. In 2017, Jennifer graduated from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. Upon graduation, she decided she wanted to work in a more challenging environment, and she moved to South Texas where she began assisting individuals detained by ICE on our militarized border. In 2020, she opened her own law firm.

While based in Harlingen, Jennifer represents clients throughout the United States before USCIS and the Immigration Courts. Jennifer is a member of the Texas State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
